About

I am an academic and have taken lead roles in curriculum review contributing to learning and teaching strategy, students’ satisfaction and income generation

My research interests are driven by the debate in the literature on sustainable corporate finance, impact investment, and business models like employee ownership. In sustainable corporate finance and investment, I look into portfolio theory, capital structure and performance of responsible stocks. Within financial development, I am interested in the debate on access to finance, and the linkage and complementary relationship between banks and stock markets

My teachings are primarily focussed within finance with specialism in investment, finance and risk which benefits from over a decade of commercial experience including professional banking, credit analyst and consortium finance

The contents available can help learn concepts and tools taught at the university degree taking students and also professional body exam preparing students such as Finanthose studying Finance or writing for Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) and Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications. I make extensive use of tools, such as Excel, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and statistical software like STATA to enhance the skill set of my students and also to enrich research
